ShixxNOTE 7.net New version release date
It is time for new version of my program ShixxNOTE. There are lot of changes (autodetect URL in note text, transparency, etc.) and fixes in program which you will be able to see on page “What’s new” on program home page. New program version ShixxNOTE 7.net will work on any Windows platform. It doesn’t need any framework or runtime so you can install program on old Windows 95 or new Windows 7. Still program is written in C++ and because of that it is quick, small and neat. It is client/server application so you have to enable default port “2000” for program in your firewall to work properly. Because one program thread is listening on default port for received note data. In new version there is new function for reading your network (LAN) at program startup and it is faster then previous one. New version release will be available for download in April 2013.

Every potential customer who register current ShixxNOTE 6.net program version till December 2012 will get new stable version of ShixxNOTE 7.net and a license bonus for the same price. That means, if you now register for example ShixxNOTE 6.net 5-Users License which costs $24.95, in December 2012 you will get registered ShixxNOTE 7.net 10-Users License version, because you have license bonus.
So register now current program release and get license bonus for new version which will be released in April, 2013

I must mention that off course I am expert on this subject because I wrote and develop ShixxNOTE from version 1 to version 6.net it was hard but cool work cause I did it for myself as a hobby. I needed some sticky program which will have good communication options, and I step by step develop ShixxNOTE in Visual C++ 6.0 using MFC (Microsoft Fundation Classes).
Because of that now I don’t have to worry if my program will work on any new version of Microsoft Operating System. Program main executable file is so small in these days about 700 kB. I could now build program for example in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 C++ but I will not do that. I rather use old Visual C++ 6.0 and then I am sure that I am controling program, memory, threads, ports, sockets and all those things will work now and for ever. But programmers now can develop program similiar to ShixxNOTE in new Visual Studio 2012 in a couple of weeks. Because now you have so many writen examples and classes which can be used so simply, for example threads. Now you write namespace System.IO.Threading (maybe I wrote wrong namespace) and you can create 2 threads in a 4 lines. I did that for about month in the Visual C++ 6.0 released in 1995 I think. Also now I would get file minimum 2 MB and more and also I need to have latest .NET Framework 4 or maybe 2.0 but you get what I mean.
I am old fashion C++ programmer and ShixxNOTE is my project which works perfectly on Windows 95 or Windows Seven and now Windows 8. All you need to do is to say to the Windows about 3 times “Allow” because of UAC, also you must check Firewall and let ShixxNOTE to be in Exception list or simply open TCP port 2000 on which program is running as a listener. When you install ShixxNOTE your computer it acts as server because it have thread which listen on port 2000 and when it receive note data it promptly create new note to you in a split of second. Also it is client because you can always send and receive note(s) from another computers in your LAN.
I wrote so many text I think this is enough.

😉 I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you don’t mind. Could it be just me or do some of the remarks come across like they are coming from brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are writing at additional places, I would like to follow everything new you have to post. Could you list every one of your social sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
Thank you for your nice comment I really like my program and I am proud of it. Simply because it works on every Windows OS. And also I wrote ShixxNOTE in C++ so because of that result (executable file) is smaller than <1MB.
And yes sometimes I many times people just write something just to leave theirs URL hidden in their's "Reply". But usually I "Trash" comments from that people.
